Feedback

Hey guys and girls,
Liam, here I was just wondering if you guys could give me some feedback on my blog. I’m a digital art student currently studying at NorthTec, so I’m pretty sharp at using technology.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Rural Nurses New Zealand Logo Design

While I was surfing Facebook on Monday I came across a post that a nursing student put on the NorthTec Student Exchange group was asking for an art student from the art department to create a logo design for Rural Nurses New Zealand.

Yesterday I had a meeting with Kristene showed me some of the designs that the other nurses came up with. We thought that I could do better designs that the other nurses came up with

Considering Media Law

When you are looking for Social Media platforms to use for art purposes, whether professionally or recreationally, it is really important to consider laws and copyright. Reading the Terms & Conditions (and privacy policy) is especially important for ensuring you agree to the rights of how the social media platform is requesting to use your work. While most of them will only request the right to publish and display your work, it is important to make sure you aren’t giving away rights that you don’t agree with, especially when money is involved.

Steve Cutts-Animation Research

Steve Cutts is a UK based illustrator and animator

Steve_Cutts

Anytime is ice cream time-Steve Cutts

I like this animation because the way the ice-cream van unloads all his load of ice-creams onto the road and the kids coming and eat them and the way some get stepped on.

What a hunt!

I dislike/like this animation because it uses some of the characters from Lion King, Looney Tunes, Jungle Book, Winnie The Pooh and Yogi Bear. I Dislike it because the hunter shoots all the characters in this animation.

In The Fall

I like this animation because of the way this animation starts with him watering his plants on the balcony and then what happens is he falls on a banana skin and starts falling down and shows his reflection on his life.

Happiness

I like this animation because it shows the story of rodent’s persistent quest to find happiness and fulfilment the rodent’s life’s.

Theatre Fest Taupo Weekend

We had Regional TheatreFest down in Taupo, we had two plays from Dargaville Little Theatre DLT 1 and DLT 2. We an’t going down to Nationals TheatreFest down in Wellington in three weeks time but it was a really good experience for all the teams to be part of TheatreFest this year!!!

We had some downtime to explore Taupo, so I decided that I would go for a walk around the town centre and look for some really cool art that was around town. I took some photos of the art, have a look at them. If you are ever in Taupo you should have a walk around the town centre and have a look at the street art.
